Metal-Courier


At the beginning the main product was the daily bulletin Metal-Courier, its publication started from October 1994. The weekly version appeared in January 1995.

The information agency Metal-Courier was founded in September 1995.

The new company aimed to produce the efficient and market participant valuable information products including industry and market news, analytic information and quotations for the metallurgical finished products and metallurgical raw materials in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other countries of the former USSR.

In March 1996 the market analysis department was created and started to issue the Metal Expert, series of three analytical monthly bulletins: Rolled Steel, Steel Tubes&Pipes, Steelmaking Raw Materials, and began consulting services in the form of the multi- and single- client studies.

In October of 1996 the first edition of the CIS producers and metal traders directory, the CIS Steel & Metals Directory, was published. By now the directory was supplemented and republished 3 times, in 1998, 1999 and 2003.

In September 1997 the new agency's subdivision went into the chemistry information market with the bulletin Chem-Courier, which is issued twice a month and is directed to the producers and traders in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries. Currently the chemical subdivision also deals with the consulting services. The CIS Chemistry Directory was issued in the end of 2003.

In 1999 the agency opened the web service.

Early in 2003 a new subdivision was organized for studying the market of industrial transportations in the CIS and Baltic countries and issuing the information bulletin Industrial Cargoes.

An important event in 2003 has also the creation of the branch company Business-Forum, which is an organizer of more than 10 items of the conferences for the metallurgical, chemical and transport branches by now.

In 2004 the agency launched the new releases of the own on-line services including Metal-Courier on-line, Metal-Expert on-line, Chem-Courier on-line and Industrial Cargoes on-line.

By now, the agency serves more than 1000 of the corporative clients in Russia, Ukraine, the CIS and Baltic countries as well as all over the world.
